Redbank Transport Inc is part of a parent company called Bluford Jackson & Son, Inc. Bluford Jackson & Son, Inc. leases all their vehicles to Redbank Transport Inc In 1919, Bluford Jackson & Son, Inc. started as a hardwood flooring company. In 1969, the first dump truck was purchased and has grown into a company with 26 tractors and 34 straight trucks and 75 trailers including the ones that are leased to owner operators. In 1980 the company was moved to Milford, OH from Madeira, OH. In 1982 the operating authority was purchased for Redbank Transport Inc and began leasing owner operators. Currently 40 trucks are leased to Redbank Transport Inc Bluford Jackson & Son, Inc. (DBA Redbank Transport Inc) was owned and operated by John B. Jackson, Sr. (Bluford Jackson was his father and John Sr. was the son in the name Bluford Jackson & Son, Inc.). John Sr. passed away February 2023 at the age of 94. His four children, Johnny Jackson, Jill Jones, David Jackson and Denise Allen took over the family business after his passing. The flooring company was sold in 2022 to John Sr.'s grandson, Ryan Jackson and is a separate company, Bluford Jackson Flooring.

Johnny Jackson passed away in April 2025, however the family business continues to be operated by Jill Jones, David Jackson and Denise Allen.
